The Pets We Abandon

Image
In Pakistan, owning pets especially expensive, high breed ones has sadly become more about social display than responsibility. People are buying pets simply for fun or to follow trends. These pets are gifted like toys on birthdays or kept to make Instagram stories look cute. But what happens when the charm wears off? They throw them out. Just like that. I have personally witnessed this. I know families that kept a kitten only till it was small and “cute” and once it grew up, they dumped it outside their house, on roads, or worse, near trash bins. No one thinks about how that animal feels, how confused and scared it must be to be thrown out of the only home it ever knew. And this is not rare. Most of the rescued cats I have come across are Persian. That is not a coincidence. Abuse of animals is a well-known issue that’s often talked about in media, but abandonment is something that people do not even consider wrong. It is not even seen as cruelty. They think, at least I did not ...

How to save money in Pakistan tips for students.| Start saving money in 2024.

Saving money in this period is not easy. But it is important, as with the rise in inflation it has become very difficult to even attain necessities. If you are a university student or college student it is very important to save money for the future. It is like the wisest approach you should acquire. Living in Pakistan, we all know we have fewer opportunities to save money as students as compared to students abroad. So in this post, I will guide you completely about, how you can save money as a student. These are all the approaches that I attain, and they are giving me advantageous results.

Following are some of the tips:

1)Open an Asaan account in any of your nearest banks:

2)Set a goal for the year:

3)Divide your money monthly:

4)Don't scroll through online shopping apps:

5)Eat at home :

6)Don't pay attention to glitter:

7)Remember why you started:

8)Look for online jobs:

1)Open an Asaan account in any of your nearest banks:

Asian account is a simple procedure to open an account in any bank. It is useful for housewives, students, and minors. The good thing about this type of account is you don't need to have proof of income or other difficult procedures for opening it. You can open it simply with your CNIC card or your B-foam number. It is a very useful step in saving money. When you will have an account, you will have a place to collect money and will make your decisions wisely.

2)Set a goal for every year:

Now you have made an account, the second step is to set a goal. For example, set a goal that, by the end of this year I will have 1 lakh or 50,000 in my account. When you will set a goal you will spend money very smartly. Your objective will always be in your mind, and you will try to fulfill it.

3)Divide your money monthly:

Whatever your pocket money or salary is. Try to divide it into two parts every month. The first portion should be the one that you can spend on essentials while the other one has to be the one you will save, and will deposit in your bank. Also try to keep a margin that out of three months, one month, I will not deposit money in my account and will spend on myself. This step helped me to avoid overspending and to attain balance.

4)Don't scroll through online shopping apps:

Scrolling online shopping apps is another way of overspending. So don't open such apps in your boredom. All unnecessary things in these apps look so glamourizing, that you forget about saving money and start to buy useless things.

5)Eat at home:

Prices have increased a lot. Eating at an ordinary restaurant will waste a lot of money. So to resist that try to eat at home.

6)Don't pay attention to glitter:

                         ''All glitters are not gold''

We all have heard this phrase in our lifetime. So don't be impressed by your friend's clothing or his anime merch. Don't compare your clothes with theirs, you are not bound to influence anyone. Save money for more important things.

7)Remember why you started:

Now, this is very important, we all know how difficult it is to resist urges to spend your saved money. So for avoiding that always try to remember why you are saving money in the first place. It can be because of a car, paying your university fees, or simply wishing to get a stable life.

8)Look for online jobs:

For saving money faster you need to earn more. But being a student it is not easy to earn a lot. Even after doing part-time job earnings is mere. So the best solution is to start earning online.
